Wimbledon day 2 recap: tears, zero confidence and super Old Gen

Wimbledon always knows how to excite fans and insiders, and the 133rd edition of the Championships bears witness to this factor. Today Roger Federer lost the first set but still managed to reach the second round. With him, Rafael Nadal, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Kei Nishikori, Ashleigh Barty, Sloane Stephens, Angelique Kerber, Kiki Bertens, Amanda Anisimova and Serena Williams are also in the second round. Out three top players: Dominic Thiem (third top-10 of the ATP rankingeliminated in the first round - ed), Garbine Muguruza and Maria Sharapova.

Tomorrow on the court Novak Djokovic, Stan Wawrinka, Milos Raonic, Kevin Anderson, Elina Svitolina, Karolina Pliskova, Caroline Wozniacki, Simona Halep and the young Coco Gauff.
