David Goffin plays to face Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal - Coach

In an interview David Goffin's coach Thomas Johansson commented on the Belgian player's improvements over the last months. Goffin lost to Rafael Nadal in the French Open third round and to Roger Federer in the Halle final. "That's why we work, to face the best guys on the best courts", said the Swede. "The basics have been there since the French Open. We can work on details, improve little things to crack the top ten rankings. We are working to make David more aggressive and consistent. His serve is there but sometimes there are too many ups and downs. We have to keep working on his strenghts, but I am really happy about his progresses."

In an interview to L'Equipe Richard Gasquet commented on his passion and love for tennis. The Frenchman said: "It's something I have always had in myself. Even after bad matches, I had the fire. I am not the strongest player in the world but i still feel passion for the game. I live for tennis. I played five tournaments in a row this summer. I will have holidays later. Two years ago I played a Challenger in Poland to come back on the court, someone would not have done it in my place but I feel humble, you cannot replace matches. As long as the loss hurts you and you have the fire in training, tournaments, travelling, you are there. Hopefully I play for two, three more years and then when I will not go far, it will be the time to turn page. I will not be around if I am world No. 150."
