On Federer, Toni concluded: "We all know how good he is, what he can do. Unbelievable, how he can still be motivated at his age and how he still wants to improve. That's good for tennis and guys who watch it. They are still improving. I tell students to look at Federer and not just my nephew."

Nadal is flying to Montreal, Canada, to try to retain his Rogers Cup title.
