Playing Roger Federer is crazy, says Almagro
Nicolas Almagro was asked what is the toughest rival he has ever played against. The Spanish player said: "Facing Roger Federer is crazy because he does everything well. He is the perfection in tennis. Then you face Nadal and he doesn't do that well but his ball is much quicker, with more top spin and he makes you feel uncomfortable all the time. On TV and on the grounds you see it in a different way, but on the court he eats you and you see that you cannot do anything to control it. Facing Ferrer was hard too, you had to fight like in a war."
Almagro was also asked what he will do once his career ends. "I'd rather not think about it because I would no longer be focused on the present. My wife sometimes asks me and I tell him, I will go to Naples to enjoy myself with you and the family and friends'. Luckily I will not have problems to get to the end of the month. I will continue my Foundation and if there is something in the world of tennis I can feel useful in, amazing. Otherwise I will look for another business."
Asked what he expects for from his experience in Marbella, Almagro concluded: "I like those events, they are very good because I see my friends and you do not have the pressure of competing at your best. We will enjoy ourselves, have dinner and play in a different environment."
Almagro usually plays Challengers nowadays. He plans to compete in the 2020 season too.
