Roger Federer is interested in improving all the time, says Wilander

Roger Federer was praised by Mats Wilander after his straight-sets win over Dan Evans. The Swede, speaking of the Swiss, said: "He is interested in tennis, conditions, technique, improving all time. Wilander also analyzed Paolo Lorenzi's amazing effort during his straight-set loss to Stan Wawrinka. "He is such a great fighter, 38 years old. Roger Federer plays at that age, Feliciano Lopez. And then you are in trouble against someone like Lorenzi. Wawrinka served well and that's a sign of confidence."

Wawrinka enjoys competing at the US Open. "I think in general I'm quite happy where I am. I'm quite happy with the fans, the people. If I look when I arrive at the tournament, like here, when I come on the court, I'm really happy. I have a lot of support, a lot of fans," said the 34-year-old who faces Novak Djokovic next.
