Kyle Edmund set for trial week with coach Franco Davin

Great Britain's Kyle Edmund, 24, is making moves as he is hoping coach Franco Davin will help him revive his career.

The 24-year-old has been playing poorly over the last two and a half months and that led to him entering the Paris Masters on an eight-match losing streak and plummeting to No. 75 in the world.  

The Briton's coaching staff experienced major changes this season, having lost coaches Fredrik Rosengren and Mark Hilton. 

Edmund is now hoping to fill the void in his coaching team by adding Davin, who is a well-known and respected coach on the ATP Tour. 

Per The Daily Mail, the two will have a trial week after the Paris Masters and then make a call on the next season. 

Under the guidance of Rosengren and Hilton, Edmund made his maiden Grand Slam semifinal at the Australian Open last year and achieved a career-high ranking of No. 14 in the world.
