Mike Bryan and Girlfriend Announce They Are Expecting Their First Child
Tennis - American doubles tennis star Mike Bryan has announced on social media that he and girlfriend Nadia Murgasova are expecting their first child. Bryan posted a pipcture of the happy couple on Instagram with the caption saying "IT'S A BOY!".
While this is the first child for Bryan, twin brother and doubles partner Bob Bryan has three children. This is the latest in a line of ATP players making announcements related to their families. Marin Cilic has announced that he and his wife are expecting their first child next year. John Isner announced the birth of his son last week and Kevin Anderson announced the birth of his daughter last month.
The Bryans are currently ranked No. 5 in the race to the season-ending ATP Finals in London. They have not played since the US Open and if they make an appearance in London, it would be their record-setting 16th appearance as a team in the season-endng event.
The 41-year-old has won 2 titles on the ATP Tour this year, in Miami and Delray Beach, with a 35-18 record. Overall on the career front, he has won 123 ATP titles and has a 1144-372 record on the tour. At the recent US Open, the brothers were beaten by Jack Sock/ Jackson Withrow in straight sets in the round of 16.
