Fully healthy Rafael Nadal confirmed to play ATP Finals per coach

Rafael Nadal's coach Carlos Moya spoke about the Spanish player's physical shape. Nadal seems to have recovered from an abdominal issue. "Today he is at 100 percent. Over the last days we went increasing a bit the intensity in the training sessions and now we think he is in a good shape to play matches. The improvements have been good. Rafa is confident and hopefully he doesn't have setbacks. What happened in Paris was very hard, since he was playing at a great level and he had chances to do something good in this tournament", said Moya.

Meanwhile Rafael Nadal's uncle Toni spoke about the ATP Finals: "On this kind of surfaces the serve and playing more forward the court is usually the key. For Rafael's qualities, a more clay-court Specialist, it was always a bit of a struggle. However, looking at the evolution over the last years both on serve and fast court, I hope Rafael can lift the trophy for the first time.

Meanwhile the MexTenis Director Raul Zurutuza spoke about how they managed to bring Roger Federer to Mexico: "They were thinking about coming back to South America and they took Mexico in consideration. We met for the first time in Wimbledon, taking schedule and images, and they told us we were the most organized people. We made it in the end."

The Mextenis official Jose Antonio Fernandez added: "We hope it's successful and that we can repeat this format in the future. It depends on how everything happens in order to see if it can be repeated every year."
