Roger Federer is funnier to watch than Nadal and Djokovic, says Zverev
Alexander Zverev spoke highly of Roger Federer in an interview with Tyc Sports. The German said: "I have a big personal relationship with him, he was always my idol growing up, for me, he is the best. He is always for a reason more fun to watch," said Zverev when asked if Federer is better than Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic. "I know him as a personal guy now generally speaking he is a great person, what he does on and off the court will not be repeated. His touch is probably his best stroke, what he can do with the ball, with his hand, drop shots, slices, variety, how he sees the game. It's not only one shot, how he sees and reads the game is complete, (but) he can do anything he would like with the ball, he can adjust to every player in different ways which a lot of players, especially the younger guys, cannot do."
Juan Martin del Potro spoke about when he may compete on the Tour again. He last played in June at the Queen's Club. "Hopefully I can be back soon. Now I cannot set a tournament as a goal after not going to Stockholm. When the knee is okay I will play whatever tournament, I keep doing the rehabilitation. I have a lot of desire to play tennis and I want to do it for a long time, knee still doesn't hold up, I hope to get good feedback and I will pick a tournament and you know when I will play again."
