Tim Henman on Andy Murray's chances of winning another Grand Slam
Former British tennis star Tim Henman thinks it will be extremely difficult for Andy Murray to win another Grand Slam but insists that the former world No. 1 can't be written off as he loves to go against the odds and prove people wrong.
Murray, 32, underwent a life and career-changing hip resurfacing surgery at the end of January, which was successful as it improved the quality of his life and allowed him to continue his professional career.
The three-time Grand Slam champion hasn't played singles at the Grand Slam level since undergoing a hip surgery but still he has gone through several physically and mentally tough matches in the past couple of months.
Murray won the doubles title at the Queen's Club with Feliciano Lopez and captured his first singles title since 2017 after beating Stan Wawrinka in the Antwerp final but most importantly his hip held well and he avoided further hip issues.
"The challenge with the best of five set matches is massive but we all know that with Andy if you say that he can’t do something, he loves to prove people wrong," Henman said, per Metro UK. "I think it’s very unlikely but I would never, with all of these top guys it’s very dangerous to write them off. It will be very, very difficult."
