Andy Murray Wants Jose Mourinho to Come to Arsenal
Tennis - Britain's Andy Murray is known to be a big football fan, besides tennis as well. So Murray was recently asked his thoughts on the current football scenario in the United Kingdom.
Murray, who recently unveiled his documentary "Resurfacing" on Amazon Prime, thinks it could be time for Unai Emery to bid goodbye at Arsenal. Emery has won only 2 games in 11 Premier League games and Murray, who is a big fan of the Gunners, thinks Arsenal should give Emery notice and instead hire Jose Mourinho.
According to TalkSport, “I actually haven’t been to the ground this season. But from what I’ve been reading the atmosphere has been pretty bad – and I don’t think that’s good news for the players, staff or anyone there. Unless that changes quickly, a change has to be made.”
Mourinho has currently been drafted by Tottenham to replace Mauricio Pochettino last week. Murray said, "I love it when he’s in the Premier League. I just think he makes it so much more interesting, to be honest. I think he would do a good job for Arsenal. The one thing about him is that you know he will win. He finds ways to win matches, tournaments. That would have been a great appointment."
Mourinho, himself, is known to be a big tennis fan and of Murray so the admiration seems mutual.
