Horacio Zeballos recalls selfies with Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic

In an interview to Que Digital, Horacio Zeballos recalled his selfies with Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, who he both faced in 2017 respectively in Barcelona and Doha. 'The selfies that I took are memories who will stay forever', said Zeballos. 'In the same Grand Slam I watched closely Djokovic and I was able to see his preparation, his camp. With Rafa, it was a great moment, in a tournament where I enjoyed a lot playing very well. All this makes me proud because they recognize me as one more player.'

After winning his only ATP career-title in 2013 Vina del Mar defeating Rafael Nadal in a three-set final, Zeballos won seven doubles titles on seven finals played, including four with the Chilean Julio Peralta. Asked what he will do after retiring from tennis, Zeballos said: 'We will see. Today my wife was asking me What will you do? And I told her that I do not really know. I am very committed to my personal schedule, on the ATP, trying to keep my level. My goal is to go week by week, keep adding points, I do not want to think much about my future. The tennis player himself does not know what would happen in six or seven months, so you drop a little on the rankings and you have to play another kind of tournaments and you have to switch to another level. I will always be related to tennis because that's my passion and what I like to do. I will not cook or teach swimming (laughter). When my body will not answer, I will start playing just doubles. I cannot say in two or three years I will retire, I really do not know it, hopefully, it will be several years on the Tour.'
