Nico Langmann speaks extremely highly of Dominic Thiem
Austrian wheelchair tennis player Nico Langmann insists Dominic Thiem isn't only a great tennis player but also a great person.
Langmann, 22, and 26-year-old Thiem got in touch for the first time in 2016, when Langmann congratulated Thiem on making his maiden Grand Slam semifinal at the French Open.
It didn't take long for Langmann to get a reply and that's when he realized what kind of a person Thiem was.
"After his Roland Garros semifinal in 2016, I congratulated Dominic by a text message. One minute later, I received a voice message, asking how I was doing and how my tournaments were going," Langmann said, as revealed by De Nela/Twitter.
"I thought: 'Wow, he has just become number 7 in the world and has nothing better to do than ask how I'm doing?' It shows who Dominic is, he is incredibly friendly. Whenever we are in Vienna, we hang out together. Recently, we watched the Champions League at my place."
World No. 4 Thiem is considered one of the nicest players on the Tour.
