Daniil Medvedev: I could do many things better

Russian tennis superstar Daniil Medvedev admitted it was all but easy against world No. 50 Frances Tiafoe in the Australian Open first round on Tuesday.
Medvedev, seeded at No. 4, was put on a big test in his opener at Melbourne Park but he avoided a shock loss as he beat Tiafoe in four sets 6-3 4-6 6-4 6-2.
"It was a really tough first match, it was up and down for both of us. A first round is never easy, especially against someone like Frances," Medvedev said, per The Straits Times.
"There were many moments where I felt I had momentum, but he straightaway came back.
"I think I could do many things better, but it is a big win and I'm happy to be through."
World No. 4 Medvedev struggled on his serve as he lost his serve at least once in each of the four sets played.
Luckily for the Russian, he didn't pay the price for his baš serving day as he broke Tiafoe nine times throughout the match.
