'Everyone knows Rafa’s models', Kyrgios ahead of Rafael Nadal clash
As another nail-biting clash between the Aussie 26th Seed Kyrgios and the world’s No. 1 Spaniard cannonade, Rafael Nadal, has been less than 12 hours away, Kyrgios, who had been on probation for bad behaviour in the court, had unveiled his true colour, though enthusiasts and fans thought the 24-year-old could just get a little passable over times.
Although at an interview on Monday (January 27th) morning, Kyrgios was quoted saying to a press agency reporter that it was great pleasure to play against the world’s No. 1, Rafael Nadal, with whom the Aussie has a long-running terribly acronymous relationship, but shortly after that the Arrogant Aussie said he knew all about the left-handers and he often dominated them; everyone knew Nadal’s models.
On prior occasions, whenever such disdainful comments came up from the 26th Seed Aussie, the Spanish always asked him to show some respect, though the 24-year-old former ‘fugitive of the court’, Kyrgios seemed to have forgotten the lessons he learnt during his probation period, as the Aussie said on Monday (January 27th) morning, “From the juniors, I like left-handers. I always seem to know which tactic they will put in place. So, I often manage to dominate them. Afterwards, Rafael Nadal is different, I know it, even if I know all of his patterns. Besides, everyone knows his models, and yet few people manage to beat him, that's why the challenge is exciting.”
