Milos Raonic to debut at New York Open in February

Per Michal Samulski, Canadian tennis star Milos Raonic has signed up to play at the New York Open in 2020 and he is set to make his debut at the event that has been a part of the ATP calendar since 2018.

Raonic, a former world No. 3, will be aiming to have an impressive campaign in his New York Open debut but it won't be easy as the American indoor ATP 250 event is set to feature a strong player field.

2014 US Open runner-up Kei Nishikori, six-time ATP champion Nick Kyrgios and inaugural New York edition winner Kevin Anderson are also expected to play the event in 2020.

Eight-time ATP champion Raonic will be hoping to remain healthy in 2020 and put himself in a position to achieve success after another season marked by injuries and health issues.

The 29-year-old Canadian hasn't won a title since 2016 but he will be a top contender to win it all at the New York Open between February 10-16 as five of his eight titles were captured at an indoor event.
