Roger Federer at his goofiest: wrestling with coaches ahead of Australian Open

The overly charismatic Roger Federer highlighted his great personality again by playing a round of ‘hide and seek’ with his team members, coach Severin Luthi and fitness coach Pierre Paganini, inside the corridors of Australian Open. Federer and Paganini couldn’t fool Seve too easily, so they decided to tease him.

Luthi coaches Federer since 2007, so we should not be surprised that he knows each move the Swiss makes, even though we are talking about a hide and seek game here.

Roger Federer will start his Australian Open 2020 campaign tomorrow against Steve Johnson, but Federer is not too confident about his shape since the AO is his first tournament of the year.

He's match-ready and I'm not. I got to make sure I get out of the gates quickly. The practice has been going well; I had plenty of time to pace myself and do all the things I had to do to get ready. I hope it's enough. I know it's a super long road to victory; that's why I got to take it one match at a time. My expectations are quite low." Federer said ahead of the clash against Johnson.
