Pablo Carreno Busta praises Felix Auger-Aliassime's game ahead of Rotterdam clash

Spain's Pablo Carreno Busta has praised Felix Auger-Aliassime ahead of their Rotterdam clash as he insists he will put on a big battle and try to make it as tough as possible for the Canadian.

The Spaniard survived a thriller quarterfinal as he saved two match points against 2019 Next Gen ATP Finals champion Jannik Sinner to win 7-5 3-6 7-6 (6) and make the Rotterdam semifinal in his debut appearance.

Meanwhile, rising Canadian star Auger-Aliassime saw off world No. 52 Aljaz Bedene in straight sets 6-4 7-6 (6) to make his second semifinal of the season and come two wins away from claiming his maiden ATP title.

Carreno Busta, ranked at No. 30 in the world, and world No. 21 Auger-Aliassime will be clashing off for the first time in their respective careers when they meet on the hard courts of Rotterdam this Saturday.

"He (Auger-Aliassime) plays very aggressive. He has a really good serve... So I need to be very focused on my game and try to play long rallies," Carreno Busta said.
