Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal e Novak Djokovic at the forefront of dope test ‘19

Later this week, the ITF (International Tennis Federation), based on London, UK, had made an announcement unfolding which tennis professionals were being tested more frequently for dopes last year.  

According to the 106-year-old ITF’s dope test reports for 2019 released later this week, the trios (Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal & Novak Djokovic) had surprisingly led the tallies at this particular segment alongside Grand Slam titles last year.

The Swiss living legend, 38-year-old Roger Federer and the 33-year-old Mallorcan marvel Rafael Nadal were examined most frequently for using illicit articles unapproved by the ITF, while the Swiss spesh was tested 9 times during the tournaments and 20 times outside the tournaments and the Spanish cannonade was test 12 and 17 times on and off the tournaments respectively.

Besides, the Belgradian, Novak Djokovic, who had recently won the year’s first Grand Slam and narrowed distance at his Grand Slam title race with Rafael Nadal, just two titles shy of the Spaniard’s 19 majors, was tested 10 times within the tournaments and 14 times outside the tournament, while outside the top Seeds, the German 33rd Seed, Jan-Lennard Struff had been the record holder being tested for dopes in total 31 times in 2019.

Among the rising starts, Thiem was tested 8 times in the tournaments and 14 times off the tournaments, while Zverev was examined for dopes 17 times on and off the tournaments.

In the WTA, top Seed Australian Ashleigh Barty alongside Elina Svitolina were tested most frequently with a total of 29 tests for both of them.

Outside the top Seeds, Victoria Kuzmova, the 52nd Seed 21-year-old had been the record holder with a total 34 probes for dopes.
