Boris Becker is anxious about the pandemic: “I don’t know what to believe anymore”

While the United Kingdom has reported over 17,000 deaths so far and the news is fluctuating from day to day, former world number one Boris Becker confessed that he feels a little anxious about the whole situation.

“Don’t know about you guys but I’m getting a little bit restless. Information we’re getting from the media is very confusing. One day you read the flattening of the curve is happening for the last week or so, and then all of a sudden it spikes back up again. I don’t know what to believe anymore. Don’t know about you guys…” said Becker on Instagram.

In UK’s newspapers, it has been vehiculated that the second wave of coronavirus is coming, a hospital turned down more patients than they treated and there have been no signs of alleviating the lockdown.

A day before declaring the above, Becker had a totally different speech. “Hello, hello, from sunny London! At least the weather plays its part. We had a gorgeous Sunday and even today is good. Did you hear the good news?” said Boris on Monday.

“Our neighbours are slowly easing up. Germany, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Sweden… slowly easing the lockdown back to normal life. Small steps, baby steps but at least there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. But in London, we’re still on lockdown. We gotta stick together. Everyone, stay safe,” Becker continued.
