Ivo Karlovic picks “girls” over Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in hilarious QeA

Asked to choose between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal during a short Q&A session he held on Twitter, Ivo Karlovic surprised the fan who was seeking a straightforward answer from the tall Croatian player. “Neither. I like girls,” was Karlovic’s funny response.

But this was not the only ‘clever’ response gave by Ivo during his Twitter Q&A session. Another fan asked Karlovic whether “it’s true that you can't play on Central Court when they put the roof?”, hinting at his outstanding 2.11 m height. “Yes. Total discrimination,” answered Ivo.

Moreover, he was asked: “What differences do you notice on the ATP tour compared to your beginnings 50 years ago?” Ivo’s witty answer was “50 years ago many more mustaches on players’ faces”, implying the facial hair trend that took over during the 70s and 80s.

On a more serious note, the 41 years old giant was also asked about his career so far. “Your best win? Your most hurtful defeat? Your dream doubles partner? Your idol growing?” asked a fan. 

Ivo didn’t hesitate to answer: “Best win was the 2003 first round Wimbledon against defending champion Hewitt. That opened up everything for me mentally. Most hurtful was the 2016 Washington final defeat versus Monfils. I had literally nightmares for a month after that.”
