Karen Khachanov talks his favorite Grand Slam, match-up
Russian tennis star Karen Khachanov reveals the French Open is his favorite Grand Slam tournament.
The Russian failed to make it past the French Open qualifying in 2016 but made his main draw debut at Roland Garros a year later.
Khachanov, 23, achieved his best result at Roland Garros last year, when he made the quarterfinal before losing to Dominic Thiem.
The 23-year-old also revealed that he is a fan of the US Open.
The Russian made the third round at Flushing Meadows in 2018, before falling short against world No. 2 Nadal.
Khachanov on IG live, asked about his favorite Grand Slam tournament: Roland Garros. I love the atmosphere there and at French tournaments overall. Also US Open because of unforgettable match against Nadal.

When asked about a good match-up for him, world No. 15 Khachanov named French tennis star Lucas Pouille.
Khachanov, a former world No. 8, and world No. 58 Pouille have played against each other four times at the ATP level.
The head-to-head record between the two stands at 2-2.
Khachanov also mentioned Adrian Mannarino, against whom he has a 3-0 head-to-head record.
Khachanov on IG live, asked about his preferred opponents: How to define a good match-up? Is it somebody you have a winning record against? If so, let me think... Lucas Pouille, I think, I have a positive record against him... 🧐 pic.twitter.com/nQXMKbrsCB

Although Karen then proceded to mention Mannarino (whom he leads 3-0 in H2H) and "Americans" (he's 10-0 combined against Americans currently ranked in Top 100)
