Venus Williams releases loungewear collection to encourage home workouts

Serena’s older sister, Venus Williams, continued her fashion brand’s campaign of motivating people to work out in their homes during the coronavirus pandemic. Eleven by Venus Williams launched a loungewear collection “created with comfort in mind”.

 

Before launching the collection, Venus participated in many live working out sessions in partnership with Eleven. One day she even had a training session with Grigor Dimitrov. 

“Three weeks ago we set out with Venus Williams on a mission to motivate one another to stay home and stay active. We could not be more proud of our #CoachVenus community for showing up with us every weekday around noon EST. Keep inspiring, team!”, Eleven wrote on Instagram.

Besides promoting movement during this social-distancing period, Venus spends a lot of her time with her dog. “Harry is literally my road dog, he travels with me everywhere, and he makes self-isolation not so lonely at all. Plus, I’m his favorite person 24-7,” Venus wrote on Instagram.

Moreover, Venus revealed that she can’t help wearing swim*uits in the mornings during the quarantine. Her sister Serena couldn’t help making an ironic remark: “Where are your pants?”. Venus’ younger sister only then remarked that she wasn’t aware of her sibling’s habit. “Wait, how did I not know this? I need the hookup!” commented Serena Williams.
