Janowicz recalls time when he and Lukas Rosol had to be separated by chair umpire

Former world No. 14 Jerzy Janowicz has recalled the time when he and Czech Lukas Rosol had to be separated by chair umpire after the match.

After losing easily 6-3 6-2 to Janowicz in the Winston-Salem Open round-of-16, Rosol approached the Pole and told him he was always finding a reason to complain about something.

After a breakthrough season on the Tour in 2013 -- when Janowicz made the Wimbledon semifinal and achieved a career-high ranking of No. 14 in the world -- it all went downhill as the Pole couldn't stay injury free for a longer period of time.

The 29-year-old Pole missed the full seasons in 2018 and 2019 -- but refused to quit professional tennis -- and now he credits his coach Gunter Bresnik for helping him to keep working on a comeback.

Janowicz also revealed that making the Paris Masters final in 2012 was more than just a good result as a financial boost was something he needed at that time.
