Frances Tiafoe e other tennis stars take a stand against racism: Enough is enough

American tennis star Francis Tiafoe is the latest tennis player to take a stand against racism after the recent violent protests in the United States following the death of George Floyd.
After Coco Gauff and Serena Williams posted videos on their social media accounts taking a stand against racial discrimination, Tiafie has posted a moving and powerful video that was accompanied by a famous quote from Martin Luther King: “ Our lives start to end the day we become silent about the things that matter. "
The video includes many tennis stars including Serena Williams, Gael Monfils, James Blake, Sloane Stephens and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga among others.
In a recent interview to the ATP Tour website, Tiafoe had said his goal was to help more black people play tennis and become a good role model. "I want to be known as a guy who was caring for the fans, a guy who wants to really build an unbelievable legacy. My goal is to help more black people play tennis ultimately, and just to be a good role model.”
