ATP Sofia: how Jannik Sinner GOT HIS FIRST ATP final!
At nineteen years and four months, Jannik Sinner becomes the youngest Italian player to reach a final in the ATP Tour. The youngest, in general, by Felix Auger Aliassime since 2018. By winning the tournament, the Italian talented would touch up the record of Kei Nishikori, champion at eighteen on Delray Beach hard courts.
As in the vast majority of cases, the San Candido tennis player plays a game of incredible substance. Even against Adrian Mannarino, one who hardly fights alone, places the decisive paw in the heart of the inaugural stage and resists a moment of difficulty in the second course.
Needless to say, he erases the three break points that he puts on the Frenchman's plate, condensing the vast majority of the attention (physical and technical) at the foot of the tie break. Effectively sealing the success on 6-3 7-5. Below the match point of the challenge, one of the most important moment of ATP Tennis of the season.
