'Roger Federer has done so many things, but...', says Grand Slam champion

“We want to believe it (Federer to win another Slam), we all want to believe it,” Henri Leconte said. “It’s been a long and difficult year. Will the motivation still be there? Will this break, the fact of having been able to enjoy (with) his family, have changed something or will he still have that renewed motivation that has always fascinated us?”  Leconte believes the rapidly-improving younger stars will make things tricky for Roger Federer, but he still has hope in the Swiss' ability to pull off the impossible. "We all wish him, we would like him to stop on a Grand Slam title but the train (momentum) is gone with this younger generation which has put in an extra speed," Leconte continued. "I would like to believe it, Roger has done so many things, that’s why he makes us dream, we would like to see him at the top." Tennis has revolved significantly around the 20 time Grand Slam winner from Switzerland. Federer not only touched lives with his effortless playing style, but he inspired the world with his warm personality. In the process of going from a Basel-born child to an icon adored worldwide, his logo has played an important role. From the time it was confirmed that the record eight-time Wimbledon winner will play in Australia, massive anticipation has followed. However, it is still unconfirmed when the first Grand Slam tournament will begin. As a break from the tension surrounding the Australian Open dates, Federer’s caps have delivered much-needed good news. They will be available for purchase from December 8. Considering this, there will be a lot of new RF caps in the stands of Melbourne Park. The only question right now from many experts is on the fitness capabilities of the 39-year-old Swiss player. Federer will answer all the questions himself when he takes on the court – wearing his brand new RF cap.
