Feliciano Lopez and Sandra Gago got married on Friday September 20, the same say where the Spanish player turns 38 years old. The couple, who engaged earlier this year in January after dating each other for one year, chose Marbella as the place for the wedding despite he is from Toledo and she is from Madrid. The friends and families of the tennis player and model were there. "It has been months of many emotions, nerves and excitement... In an interview Lopez said: "Tennis is a single sport where mind influences a lot. In order to have a good career it's very important to be well surrounded, having a good coach and family."
On the criticism he gets, Lopez added: "It was never a problem. Tennis requires so much effort that doesn't give you time to think. I never felt I had to retire because I could not cope with it mentally. I started playing on the professional tour at 15 years. When you are so little you do not realize your game. You are not able to analyze certain things. In tennis the experience is very important."
