Andre Agassi: Tennis is better having Novak Djokovic at the top

In a chat to Eurosport, Andre Agassi commented on Novak Djokovic's rise again to the top. The Serb stopped working with the American in March earlier this year and after that he cameback to his old team winning two Majors. 'It is well connected to health,' Agassi said commenting on Djokovic's return. 'Being healthy is the first thing. It took a while for him to support necessary decisions to get healthy. Unfortunately that meant a surgery but he is healthy, he is gifted, he has the fire, he has the heart. And it seems he is focused on one goal. It's nice to see him at the top. Tennis is better having him back.'

Andre gave his thoughts on the new format of the Davis Cup: 'In the future, many nations will suffer consequences. Davis Cup played such a grassroots role in tennis. For many small countries it's a revenue opportunity, but the difficulty in Davis Cup is that travelling is tough, it's tough to find balance with the schedule, playing on different surfaces, there is a lot of things that make it difficult. The changes will be hard to understand players who will not compete there. It would be very hard to accept so many changes.'

Who is the most talented player? 'The most talented for me is Kyrgios. This guy can do anything on a tennis court, but it takes more than talent.'

Agassi will be back on the road at the Australian Open as Grigor Dimitrov's coach.
