Serena Williams to face sister Venus in Abu Dhabi this month!

The Mubadala World Tennis Championship will feature the all-Williams sisters' clash, between Serena and Venus, on Thursday 27th December. In December 2017 Serena made her comeback to tennis just playing in Abu Dhabi losing to Jelena Ostapenko in which was the first women's match ever played in the tournament. Now Serena comes back to face Venus. 'I loved playing in Abu Dhabi last year', the 23-time Grand Slam winner said through a statement. 'I am excited to return to such a beautiful city and to see my fans. This time, I’ll be playing against my sister, so the match will be even more special.'

On Thursday, December 27 also Kevin Anderson against Hyeon Chung and Karen Khachanov against Dominic Thiem will play. After the match, Serena will immediately fly to Perth, Australia, where she will pair with Frances Tiafoe to play the Hopman Cup for the second time in her career.
