Andy Roddick can't change a diaper, says wife Brooklyn Decker
Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker share two children together, three-year-old son Hack and one-year-old daughter Stevie. In an interview to US Magazine weekly, Decker confessed a thing that the 2003 US Open champion cannot do when it comes to fatherhood. “[Andy] can’t ball up a diaper if his life depended on it", said Decker, a model and actor. "The amount of times I’ve found open dirty diapers on the floor when I’m, like, ‘There is Velcro here to help you ball this diaper up and toss it.’ It’s really quite a weakness of his."
In the same time, Decker added: "He’s really amazing at waking up at the morning, which is shockingly hard for me. It’s, like, that 5:30 a.m. wake up is not easy and he just jumps up, grabs Stevie and is on the go. That’s really nice. It’s like relationship currency. He’s just filling up that bank with relationship currency. It’s really quite beautiful. I love it. I owe him a lot.”
Roddick will play an exhibition match with the former world No. 1 Jim Courier at the New York Open in February. Coming back to New York is certainly not a place where I want to not play well", said the 36-year-old about competing there.
