I would beat Serena Williams 6-3 6-2, says ATP player
Italian player Thomas Fabbiano believes she would beat the female 23-time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams. Speaking to Tennis World USA, Fabbiano said: 'I played with some girls and when you start playing points you see the difference is there. I think I would win 6-3 6-2.'
Fabbiano said he plans to compete in the "new" Davis Cup: 'Playing for Italy is always a good thing, there are six or seven players, including me, who have the chances to go to India (in February) and if we win to Madrid in November. I heard some huge money is involved, I do not know how it will be split, probably depending on players competing per each team. We as players all agree on doing our best for a country that deserves to be at the top.'
Serena had a very good 2018 season reaching two Grand Slam finals, Wimbledon and US Open, respectively losing to Angelique Kerber and Naomi Osaka. She will definitely try to win a Major in 2019.
