Mats Wilander questions Serena Williams's foot fault on match point

Mats Wilander gave an interesting insight on Serena Williams's loss to Karolina Pliskova at the Australian Open. On one of her four match points, the linesman called a foot fault on Serena's first serve which meant she had to hit a second serve. If it did not happen, the 23-time Major winner may have won the match. 'Because of Serena Williams's level in the third set, Pliskova felt she had to keep the ball away from Serena, she had the chance to get back and she did', said Wilander. 'Of course, Serena feels she should have done something different but that foot fault on match point - I would love to see it the right camera angle - I do not doubt the umpire but the first foot fault of the match on the match point, that's weird.'

Wilander also commented on Stefanos Tsitsipas's win over Roberto Bautista Agut: 'Obviously Bautista is a really tough player, one of the best players in the world at the moment but in the past we have seen other players like Tsitsipas who come out and beat a top player, we Hope for great things and then they fall in the next round. When you play Bautista Agut you get a chance to play your game and Tsitsipas did it so well. He is so mature on the court. I have never ever seen a player more organized in the changeovers. He has got his energic drinks. He is fun because he is in the present.'
