I would like to have more children with Serena Williams, says Alexis Ohanian
Serena Williams's husband Alexis Ohanian feels confident about their one-year and five-month-old Olympia's future. Speaking to Vanity Fair, Alexis said he loves the babe's mentality. 'She is very gracious and at the same time pumped up. I think she will become a great athlete and a great investor. I want to give herself the same opportunities that my parents created for me', said Ohanian.
He also recalled the first months when Olympia was born: 'There was the whole family and we had a pool outside. Olympia feels very comfortable in the water. During the pregnancy, Serena trained a lot in the water. Every time she was heading into the pool she felt Olympia running up and she repeated "This baby likes the water", and this is obviously like this.'
Ohanian also said they plan to have more children together in the future: 'Serena is so focused on her job but we would like to have others. In the beginning, I joked saying I wanted a football team. I would be happy with a basketball team but it will not happen. Serena has still much more to do. She is a super mum which gives her immense strength.'
Ohanian concluded: 'I see in Serena a certain superpower that brings her to react in a certain way. Looking at the way she uses this power as a mother and as a wife... But I will never play tennis with her!"
Williams, a 37-year-old, lost to Karolina Pliskova in a three-set Australian Open quarter-final last month. The American will play the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and the Miami Open in March
