Ashleigh Barty fought back from a set down to defeat Kiki Bertens and reach the Miami Open quarterfinals for the first time. Barty rallied back from a 4-6 deficit to prevail 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 in one hour and 53 minutes to maintain her winning streak against the World No.8.
