Former No. 8 thinks Nick Kyrgios has to work harder to reach top-10

Mark Philippoussis, a former Wimbledon finalist and the world no. 8 had to take a long trip from the USA to Canberra, entering the P² Invitational at Canberra Tennis Centre on Thursday. Mark enjoyed a charity event together with Wally Masur and John Fitzgerald, raising money for charities Raw Potential Canberra and answering some interesting questions about his compatriot Nick Kyrgios. "If you're asking me to be honest and say is he going down the way of the path of top-10? Not right now with the way things are going, but that can change," said Philippoussis. "But that has to be a change that someone wants. The good news is he came off a win, that's very positive, he's found his game and hopefully he can keep it going. It's as simple as that. Kohlschreiber is a very tough player. He's been around and he knows how to win. He's got a great game, one of the best and cleanest hitters on the tour so it's no surprise that Nick lost against him."
