Insider explains why Rafael Nadal opened tennis center in Mexico
In an interview to Marca, Tomas Prieto, director of the tennis programmes at the Rafa Nadal Academy, commented on the opening of the new tennis centre named after the 17-time Major winner that happened on Monday, February 18 in Cancun, Mexico. 'We have been working here for two months so that it opens on Monday', said Prieto.
On how people have been reacting to the news, Prieto added: 'For the name he has, they feel admiration and surprise for the project we are creating. It may be the first project of many ones.
