Nick Kyrgios explains verbal altercation with fan at Miami Masters
Rising Australian star Nick Kyrgios has questioned why would someone who can't stand him pay a good ticket price to watch him on a Sunday night.
The Australian got into a verbal altercation with a fan during his Miami Masters third round clash against Serb Dusan Lajovic.
The fan booed Kyrgios, who then threw the ball at the fan and started clapping at him.

The fan was eventually escorted but it didn't end there as the Australian waved him a goodbye on his way out.
However, the altercation didn't affect Kyrgios' performance as he demolished Lajovic 6-3 6-1.
"At the change of ends he literally just said 'you’re a dick.' And I was like I don’t quite understand the context of it," Kyrgios explained post-match, per Tennis Now Twitter. "You’re sitting here you paid good money to watch me on a Sunday night so you obviously don’t have anything else to do and then he’s like you’re a dick … And then he was like come here and say it and I was like 'No because I have to play and then I don’t know it just kept going."
Kyrgios appeared to enjoy a bit of the altercation as he thinks it brings the entertainment.
"I think tennis needs stuff like this to be honest It’s fun. I thought the crowd love this match I had a lot of fun," Kyrgios claimed.
Kyrgios plays next against Borna Coric.
