Dusan Lajovic comments on how Novak Djokovic inspired Serbians

In an interview to ATP Tennis Radio, Dusan Lajovic commented on the success of Serbian tennis. The Monte Carlo Masters finalist believes Novak Djokovic inspired the younger people: "It's only seven million people in the country. The younger guys have paved the way for the next generations and we are Croatians, Bosnians and Serbia and it's different than some years ago where you could not head into some areas. You are far from home but it feels a bit like home, you can speak with them in the same language. Filip Krajinovic, Laslo Djere who has a great story and many other ones coming up."

On his improvements, Lajovic added: "I have been working with Jose Perlas in the last few years who is one of the best coaches on the ATP Tour, we have worked on my game and obviously he believes that I can improve and I started believing so that was the biggest change in my game."

Lajovic feels Nadal is the favourite in the French Open: "I don't think that Rafa can play such a bad match two times in such a short period of time. But again, it's also proven that they can be beaten. Just I would say that it's much harder in a slam."

The Serb was also very respectful towards Fognini speaking of the Arma di Taggia native's talent: "We know Fabio. When he wants to play, it's really difficult to play against him."
