Matteo Berrettini: I hope I won't twist ankle in Budapest next year as well

Rising Italian star Matteo Berrettini hopes he won't twist his ankle in Budapest next year as well. 

The 23-year-old twisted his ankle in his Budapest debut last year and picked up the same injury at the tournament this year. 

Despite twisting his ankle, the Italian managed to win it all on the clay of Budapest this year. 

Berrettini ranked at No. 55 in the world, defeated Serbia's Filip Krajinovic in the Budapest final 4-6 6-3 6-1. 

Krajinovic, 27, broke Berrettini in the ninth game before he successfully served out for the opener in the following game. 

However, the Italian kept his focus as he lost just four games in the rest of the match to make a big comeback and claim his second ATP title. 

Berrettini's debut campaign in Budapest ended with a round-of-16 loss suffered to Aljaz Bedene. 

Next up for Berrettini is Munich, where he will be meeting qualifier Denis Istomin in the first round.
