Novak Djokovic reveals spiritual side: I pray every morning
Novak Djokovic is very religious and he regularly posts on this topic on his social media channels. Speaking to Jay Shetty, Djokovic said: "I pray every morning. First I express my gratitude for my body, myself, my opportunities to continue my evolution as a multidimensional being in this life. I am grateful for my family, for being able to have my senses, have a big bed and to have the most beautiful sunrise every morning. Continuing to work on the things we talked about, physical work and tennis, duties as a father and husband. I need to get in daily something in myself care work whatever is two-minute breathing, prayer. Sometimes it's only that because you do not have time but it's important to keep doing it and be disciplined with."
Asked what was the best advice he ever got, Djokovic replied: "Be open-minded. When you are open minded you are ready to receive everything that we are surrounded by in this such beautiful world and we are so blessed that we live in this world and we go through this process of evolution and when you come close to the realization of who you are, you continue to seek for that truth, it brings close to the source from where you arrived and it makes you so present, calm, joyful and grateful for yourself, people who surround you and everything you do and fullfills you. That's the essence of our life."
