Week 18: Pliskova, Fognini and Zverev will come back on the court

Eighteenth tennis week of the season, which will lead players, insiders, media and fans into the very heart of the clay season 2019. In these seven days of tennis, there will be four events: two ATP tournaments and two WTA tournaments.

Men will be engaged at the Millennium Estoril Open 2019, in Cascais, Portugal (ATP 250 which will be played on clay courts) and at the BMW Open 2019, in Munich, Germany (ATP 250 which will be played on clay courts).

In Portugal, Stefanos Tsitsipas will lead the draw. With him, there will be Gael Monfils, David Goffin, Frances Tiafoe and Fabio Fognini. In Germany, Alexander Zverev will be seed no.1. With Roberto Bautista, Karen Kahachanov and Marco Cecchinato. These are two very balanced and interesting draws to follow.

Women will play at the J&T Banka Prague Open 2019, in Prague, Czech Republic (WTA International on clay courts) and at the SAR Grand Prix La Princesse Lalla Meryem 2019, in Rabat, Morocco (WTA International on clay courts). In Prague, the home player Karolina Pliskova will lead the draw. Her opponents will be Anastasia Sevastova, Qiang Wang, Katerina Sinakova, Andrea Petkovic and Svetlana Kuznetsova. In Rabat, Elise Mertens will be seed no. 1, and with her, there will be Alize Cornet, Timea Bacsinszky, Daria Gavrilova and Johanna Konta. Also, in this case, the tournaments will be very interesting.

There will also be four ATP Challengers: Ostrava (the Czech Republic, on clay courts), Puerto Vallarta (Mexico, on hard courts), Savannah (the USA, on clay courts) and Seoul (South Korea, on hard courts).
