Fabio Fognini has a double personality sometimes, says wife Pennetta
In an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 2015 US Open champion Flavia Pennetta commented on the differences between living the Rome Open as a player and as Fabio Fognini's wife. "You live it in a totally different way. I am very calm and relaxed compared to the previous years when I had to head into the court and compete at my best. You suffer by watching your husband playing, but it's different and at the same time emotional because so many memories get in your head, all the matches you played there", said Pennetta.
She added: "Fabio has always been very calm at home. On court, he has bad behaviour sometimes but in his daily life, he has always been calm. He has a double personality and living with our son Federico more helps him. We travel but not a lot, but this year we were there more. Coming back from the hotel in the evening, playing with Federico helps him."
