I would pick Djokovic in a final, not Federer and Nadal - Wilander

In an interview in Belgrade, the seven-time Grand Slam winner Mats Wilander praised Novak Djokovic's greatness in tennis. The Swede said: "If I had to choose a tennis player who I had to bet with in a final and my life depended on it, I would not bet on Rafa and Federer but on Novak. He is the strongest player on Tour mentally. Instead Federer was not that solid mentally in Australia. Compared to the other two, Novak has no weakness. He plays perfect tennis. Now you can think he can win all the time, which it was impossible back in the day. He has a perfect return and when you play against him it's like to play against the wall, he gives back everything and it's impossible to play against him. The way Novak has changed over the last year was unbelievable. When that happened it was very strange, we were used to see Novak winning all the time and it was like a shock. Now it's like it should be. He is the real Novak again, instead, maybe the best Novak ever."

Wilander also said Simona Halep and Novak Djokovic are similar: "In terms of gamestyle, physically and emotionally, yes. They have many similarities. A better backhand and forehand, yeah. But in the same time, for both, the forehand makes a difference between the win and loss. It's very similar. Obviously Novak is stronger than Simona but they are so similar. What I like of them is the emotion they play with."

Wilander will now head into Paris where the French Open will take place.
