Nick Kyrgios, Tsitsipas and more players commit to Citi Open

As every year, a great player's field has been set so far for the Citi Open that takes place in Washington from 27th of July to 4th of August. Stefanos Tsitsipas, Kei Nishikori, Gael Monfils, Frances Tiafoe, Nick Kyrgios and Felix Auger-Aliassime have committed to play the ATP 500 event. Monfils is also a former Citi Open winner having triumphed in 2016 defeating Ivo Karlovic in the final. Kyrgios only played Washington in 2017 losing to Tennys Sandgren in the opening round. The Canberra native withdrew from the 2018 edition due to an injury. Tiafoe achieved his best result in 2018 losing to David Goffin in the third round. Auger-Aliassime will make his first appearance in the tournament. Sloane Stephens is the only player confirmed for Washington. In 2015, she defeated Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in a straight-set final.
