Castle reacts to del Potro's latest injury: That's gotta be it, surely

BBC tennis pundit Andrew Castle thinks Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro will call it a career after his latest knee injury. 

The Argentinian suffered yet another setback this week as he slipped on the grass during his Queen's first round match against Canadian Denis Shapovalov.

Del Potro went on to claim the win but later pulled out of the singles and doubles. 

The results revealed that 2009 US Open champion del Potro once again fractured his knee. 

"The medical studies done last night in a clinic in London show that Juan Martin del Potro has suffered again a fracture in the right patella," del Potro's team said in a statement.

The 30-year-old is set to have another knee surgery.

"That's gotta be it, surely," Castle said after del Potro's latest knee injury, per Matthew Willis.

Del Potro's great 2018 campaign came to an end on a disappointing way as he fractured his knee during a heavy fall at the Shanghai Masters. 

Del Potro returned to action at the Delray Beach Open in February but took another break as he played his next tournament in May.
