Rafael Nadal had his turning point in Rome, says uncle Toni

In an interview to Cope, Rafael Nadal's uncle Toni commented on the Mallorca Open. "Every year the tournament improves in terms of facilities, featuring good players and the level is a very high one. In an interview to Cope, Spain's Fed Cup team captain Anabel Medina Garrigues commented on when Nadal will retire from the professional tennis. "Rafa is a very rational person, he analyzes everything in a very deep way and he handled his career very well also thank to his team. He gave his best and I am sure he will decide properly how to retire. He will do great", said Medina.

On Nadal's French Open final win over Dominic Thiem, Toni concluded: "It was a high quality first set. The fans are exigent and they saw a show between players. You expected a great final. Keeping that intensity is tough but Rafa still wants to win."
