Roger Federer was asked what legend of the past he would like to face. The Basel native replied: "Maybe there is something intriguing about playing Bjorn Borg I guess. Asked if he has ever played on carpet, Federer said: "Growing up I played a lot on the carpet. We had a lot of those carpet indoor tennis courts in Switzerland, that was really one thing I was practising on a lot actually when I was 10 years old."
