Thanasi Kokkinakis' withdrawals continue as he is out of Binghamton
Injury-plagued Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis has withdrawn from the upcoming Binghamton Challenger.
The 23-year-old was expected to return to the Binghamton event for the first time since 2014.
Kokkinakis, ranked at No. 185 in the world, debuted at the Binghamton event in 2014.
The Australian had a solid run his Binghamton debut before it was stopped by Ukraine's Sergiy Stakhovaky in the quarterfinal.
Kokkinakis last played at the Winnetka Challenger last week.
It was the Australian's first tournament since May and the Barletta Challenger -- where he pulled out from his round-of-16 clash due to a pectoral issue.
Kokkinakis didn't drop a set on his way to the Winnetka semifinal but then he pulled out from his semifinal clash after starting to feel issues with his pectoral once again.
However, former world No. 69 is expected to return to action in Los Cabos.
The Los Cabos event announced this week the 23-year-old as a wildcard winner.
Kokkinakis is set to make his third consecutive appearance in Los Cabos.
The Australian ended runner-up in his Los Cabos debut before he picked up a first round exit at the tournament last year.
The Los Cabos event is due to take place from July 29 - August 03.
