Maria Sharapova’s chic 2019 US Open dresses revealed
Fashion staple Maria Sharapova will wear two stylish Nike outfits - that could very well be worn on any special occasion -, throughout her 2019 US Open campaign.
The Russian player will sport an orange nuanced outfit during her day matches and a darker dress during her night sessions. The official colors of the two dresses are called monarch, respectively gridiron.

Sharapova’s outfits have always had that added value on the stylishness scale, but these dresses can be very well confounded with a piece that one would wear at a dinner at a fancy restaurant. Fashion writer Marija Zivlak described the look of the dresses as being similar to the ones worn at an infamous disco club.
“The Nike Fall Maria NY Dress has a defined waist, as the fabric is gathered for a fitted look inspired by dresses worn in New York’s posh club, the historic Studio 54”, wrote Marija on Women’s Tennis Blog.
Studio 54 was a luxury world famous nightclub attended by famous singers, movie stars, and public figures like Woody Allen, Drew Barrymore, David Bowie, Salvador Dali, Cher, Richard Gere, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Sylvester Stallone, Tina Turner, John Travolta and many more.
Maria Sharapova’s only concern about her dresses is whether she would have the chance to wear both of them. In the last year’s US Open, the Russian sported only one of her outfits as she played all her four matches in the night sessions.
